Installation Guide
The Docs to WP Pro extension can be installed and connected to your WordPress site in just a few steps. Follow the guide below to set it up and start publishing directly from Google Docs.
Installing Docs to WP Pro

Open the Docs to WP Pro Marketplace listing .

Click the Install button.

Grant the requested permissions:

Access to your Google Docs (to read and publish selected documents).

Connection to your WordPress site via REST API and Application Password.

Once installation is complete, open any Google Doc.

You will now see Docs to WP Pro listed under the Extensions menu in Google Docs.
After Installation
Once installed:

Open Google Docs, click on Extensions > Docs to WordPress Pro > Push to wordpress, and the tool will appear in the side panel.

Configure your WordPress site connection before publishing (see Configuring Defaults for detailed steps).

You can now:

Publish new posts directly from Google Docs to WordPress.

Update existing posts in WordPress with the latest version of your Google Doc.

Upload images from Google Docs automatically to the WordPress Media Library.

Your Google account is automatically linked — you don’t need to sign in again once permissions are granted.
Additional Notes

Who can install: Both individual users and Workspace domain admins can install the extension.

Admin Install: Workspace admins can install it for all users in their organization, making it available across multiple accounts.

Permissions: The extension only requests the minimum access needed to connect Google Docs with WordPress securely.
